Our story and why we are building ProdE.

ProdE - Product Engineer

Y Combinator's request for startups says it best: "Cursor and Claude Code are great at helping teams build software once it's clear what needs to be built. But there's a gap in product discovery." The world needs a Cursor for product management.

We think tools like Jira, Linear, Confluence were built for a different era. One where software took weeks, sometimes months to ship. In the age of agentic development, planning isn't about creating manual tasks and writing documentation by hand anymore. The new planning tools need to be code-aware, extract ideas straight from conversations, keep documentation automatically up to date, and convert ideas into specs (PRDs, UI/UX specs, engineering specs) while keeping the decision-making control with the team.

Without the blueprints, you can't really expect to build a skyscraper, right?
