About the role

ProdE is the product brain for AI-native software teams. We turn codebases into docs, answers, and specs that AI agents can execute.

First US sales hire. You own the full cycle: prospect, discover, demo, negotiate, close. You sell to CTOs, CPOs, CTPOs, and VPs of Engineering and Product at companies from Series A to enterprise. This is an individual contributor role.

What you'll do

  • Run the full sales cycle end to end.
  • Cold call, cold email, work conferences. AI tooling welcome, human touch required.
  • Build the sales playbook with the co-founders so future hires can run on it.
  • Run a modern sales stack: HubSpot, Outreach, Apollo, Clay, Gong.
  • Travel for conferences and customer meetings when needed. Be effective remote by default.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years closing full-cycle B2B SaaS deals. Not BD or SDR.
  • Sold dev, product, or security tooling: Linear, Jira, Confluence, Sourcegraph, Cursor for Business, GitHub Copilot Enterprise, LinearB, Jellyfish, Snyk, or similar.
  • Sold to CTOs, CPOs, CTPOs, VPs of Engineering and Product.
  • Closed at Series A and at enterprise. You know when to shorten the motion and when to lean in.
  • Cold calling is part of the job. You don't outsource it.
  • Comfortable with software. Terms like microservices, CI/CD, code review, and agent reliability are not foreign words.
  • You live in the AI space: agents, LLMs, evals, the major model labs. You can hold your own with a technical CTO. We outscored Claude Code by 40% on AI codebase documentation benchmarks. That's the level of conversation our buyers expect.
  • High agency, honest in deals. You figure things out without a playbook, and you walk away from bad fits.
  • US-based. No visa sponsorship currently.

Nice to have

  • Existing network of US engineering and product leaders.
  • Founder-led sales experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Heavy use of Clay, Apollo, Outreach, Gong, HubSpot.
  • Active LinkedIn presence.

Who you'll work with

You'll work with us, the co-founders, every day. Abhishek (CEO) led AI Agents at Leena AI (YC S18), growing it from $100K to $10M ARR. Nilesh (COO) was a Director at a Series B company selling into large enterprises. IIT Delhi and CMU. We join demos with you, in the trenches with you.

Compensation

Base + uncapped bonus + meaningful equity.
